Full Time Sales Administrative Assistant
The Long Island Radio Group is searching for a FULL-TIME SALES ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT.
This is a great entry level position. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Corel and graphic design skills desirable.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist General Sales Managers with corporate monthly report, memos/proposals, sales orders and traffic input.
- Fill-in as Receptionist.
- Fill-in for business office when needed, filing, bank deposits etc.
- Administer “new hire” test and score.
- Assist sales with proposals, schedules, copy, etc.

Full-Time Promotions Manager
At the present time The Long Island Radio Group’s 94.3 WMJC is in search for a qualified FULL TIME PROMOTION MANAGER with the following qualifications:
Must have field marketing/promotions experience
Interact with 94.3 WMJC programming and sales staff.
Must be able to work flexible hours (this is not a 9 to 5 job).
Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
Must have valid driver’s license and transportation
Must be super organized and able to multi-task
Must be computer literate
Must be able to operate a digital camera.
Must be able to write radio station promotional copy.
Must have 3 yrs. promotion and marketing experience.
Must be detail oriented and possess excellent verbal skills
Must be able to manage and lead a field crew/staff
Must work well with others and individually as a self starter
Must be a problem solver
Social Networking and graphic design skills are a plus

WMJC is now looking for part-time promotional crew people.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Setting up and breaking down promotional items and audio equipment at events.
* Interacting with listeners and properly representing the station at events.
